Peter Boardman, aged 27, was crowned the first UK Bale Rolling champion after a tough afternoon of competition!

He was the fastest to roll the four foot bale, weighing 200 kilograms, around the 100m course.

The youth worker took home a trip for two to Chester Races for him and his fiancée.

The contest was held at Apple Jacks Farm, in Stretton, where the Amazing Maize Maze is based.

The event raised money for McMillan cancer research.
