SIPPING cocktails in swish £5m top cuisine restaurant bars is set to turn Victoria Square into a continental piazza. Contemporary glass pavilions adjoining the French Renaissance 1887 civic building will change the town's image and create new jobs, say dynamic developers.
The future
EXCITING plans to invest £100m to transform a dilapidated Runcorn new town estate are taking shape. Thirty-year-old Castlefields is being completely revamped in an ambitious masterplan over the next 10 years.
The waterways
EXCITING waterfront developments are set to transform Halton's skyline. Blue chip companies, plush apartments, sports, retail and leisure facilities could create a vibrant riverside economy. With a decision expected soon on the £335m second Mersey crossing, linking our two coastlines, Runcorn and Widnes are on the cusp of a sea change.
